Twists n Curlformers

Hi and welcome!!!!!

So I purchased some Curlformers back when I first cut my hair in 2011.   I have not had great success with them - they are great when I want to stretch my hair with no heat but my curls were nothing to brag about.  I had seen several videos on YouTube where mini twists were set on curlformers - so I decided to try it on two strand twists!

I washed my hair with Jane Carter Invigorating Sulfate Free Shampoo and deep conditioned with MY HoneyChild Honey Mask (added some olive oil).  Sat under the dryer for about 30 minutes and then rinsed out.  I sprayed my hair with the Jane Carter Leave-in Condtioner and detangled and sectioned my hair in 8 sections.  Per each twist, I applied the Jane Carter Wrap and Roll setting mouse, brushed with my Denman brush and then applied a dab of the Jane Carter Twist and Lock cream.  Twisted then put in curlformer.  I used maybe 40-50 curlformers, using both the short/narrow and the the short/wide curlformers.  Sat under the dryer for another 30 minutes and then air dryed hair.  Removed curlformers and took twists down with oil and Jane Carter Nourish and Shine.  These are my results:

I really liked the results - hair had sheen as well as moisture!  This was done on a Saturday and lasted until Tuesday and which I wore hair in a puff!  Will do this again!
